Although South Belize Realty is a new name in the Belize marketplace, Ron Forrester has been active in the Belize Real Estate market since 1987.  "Back then, I had heard of Belize, but had never been there," said Forrester.  "I went to work for British American Cattle Company selling acreage tracts in the Estevez Works subdivision and I almost quit after my first trip to Belize.  It was extremely hot (the A/C did not work); so I took cold showers and drank warm Belikin Beer.  Maybe that is why I always tell people that Belize is not for everyone.  The more I went to Belize after that first trip, the more I liked the people, the natural beauty, and the life style.  My goal now is to open another real estate office in the Hopkins-Sittee Point area, walk up and down the beach every morning, go fishing in the Caribbean or Sittee River and enjoy life."
