Newsletter BELIZE TIDBITS---MARCH 2006 NEW BRIDGE---The new bridge over the cut on Ambergris Caye is now open. This is a definite plus for tourists and property owners alike and will open up more development on the North side of the island. I understand that there are now actual traffic jams on AC, something that I thought would never happen in my lifetime. AMERICAN IDOL BELIZE CONNECTION---Lisa Tucker, one of the finalists on American Idol has Belize parents. I have seen some of the shows and think she is one of the most talented performers. Hope she does well. ELECTIONS---On March 1st, the United Democratic Party won 64 out of 67 seats in the municipal elections. A major defeat for the PUP. NEW COMMERCIAL LOTS---We have added some new commercial lots at Sittee Point. These lots are at the entrance to the subdivision, across the street from the Belizean Dream Estates and Jaguar Reef Lodge.
